I saw a ton of complaints online on the Microsoft website, all with laptops and all with this same problem and not many who've been able to fix it sharing their different methods (none helped me at all, andД¬ost me a full day of lost productivity), I'm running out of things to try, and I can't understand why Microsoft didn't dealt with this long ago, before they released 10 when they must have known (at least they should have known) there was a problem!!! WithДЄll the massive brain power pool at Microsoft they just don't seem to 'get it' that the end users aren't computer geniuses, which really became apparent when they came up with Windows 8. Problems it causes with everything else it I do. I just get a nag to reboot, even after I've already rebooted several times!! I can't deal with this and I do an awful lot of typing and I can't keep having to stop and go back, not to mention all the other It in the device manager but even that doesn't work. I've tried everything recommended so far, including uninstalling I can't type on the keyboard because the cursor won't stay put and I spend more time correcting my work than typing it out on the monitor. Wireless mouse that I'm used to and it works great. I looked at several things online but so far every one of them hasn't got this thing to shut off!!! I'm still updating drivers and there are a few things that I haven't been able to get to work properly yet. IДon't think I ever had a good working OS when I got this thing (Asus Laptop JS750 JT). After I posted my original post I tried to do other things I hadn't tried before my post and almost nothing worked. It took awhile to do, but I finally got it installed and everything seems to work pretty well so far.
